With hand-laid fiberglass, you can vary the thickness of the fiber, which means you can custom make each piece, depending on the application; thicker for the street, thinner for the strip. Fiberglass front ends are available for Bugs; fiberglass doors are available for Type I Beetles; fiberglass fenders are available for Type I sedans only.
